Jaraad Virani

Director Jaraad Virani loves nothing more than crafting cinematic experiences to share with strangers in a darkened theater. While attending NYU's Tisch School of the Art's Undergraduate film program he wrote, produced, and directed the dramatic science fiction short "Paradise Regained" for his Narrative Workshop class. NYU awarded him the Willard T.C. Johnson fellowship in his senior year, and he also secured Panavision's "New Filmmakers Grant," both of which which enabled "Paradise Regained" to come to fruition. The entire film took nearly four years to finish due to it's intricate visual effects shots and ambitious story. Jaraad currently resides in Los Angeles, California where he writes and directs short projects and is currently writing his first feature film.
