KPCC&#8217;s John Horn recently <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scpr.org\/programs\/the-frame\/2015\/06\/22\/43379\/how-the-true-detective-main-titles-set-the-califor\/\">interviewed<\/a> Clair for the radio program &#8220;The Frame,&#8221; which cites aerial photographer <a href=\"http:\/\/davidmaisel.com\/\">David Maisel<\/a> as a key influence for some of the intro. Wired Magazine&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/2015\/06\/made-true-detectives-opening-credits-eerie\/\">write-up<\/a> also cites photographer <a href=\"http:\/\/mn8studio.com\/\">Jake Sargeant<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fwdlabs.com\/images\/icons\/dash.gif\" class=\"dash\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Careful when you claim &#8220;first.&#8221; Jameson&#8217;s ad agency, 360i, got some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adweek.com\/news\/technology\/jameson-serves-3d-whiskey-shot-its-new-instagram-ad-163502\">press<\/a> for a Facebook and Instagram &#8220;first&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/instagram.com\/p\/0LZMCKq-Ys\/\">video ad<\/a> that gives off a 3D look. But, as one astute commenter noted, they weren&#8217;t &#8220;first.&#8221; There&#8217;s already a whole <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/SplitDepthGIFS\">Reddit<\/a> for these things, which are coined split-depth GIFs.
