Writer\/actor\u00c2\u00a0<span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/www.blackbookmag.com\/art\/actor-adam-goldberg-is-the-king-of-vine-twitter-s-indie-filmmaker-app-1.58150\">Adam Goldberg<\/span>\u00c2\u00a0was called out\u00c2\u00a0by New York Magazine as the king of Vine when it first began, coming up with many short-shorts right off the bat. When director\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fwdlabs.com\/blog\/tips-vine-tweaser-itunes-specs-mad-man-series-bible-dave-grohl\/\">James Mangold<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0posted his new &#8220;The Wolverine&#8221; movie trailer looped in a square for six seconds, he\u00c2\u00a0called it a &#8220;tweaser.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Director David Lynch is now giving it a try, posting this piece, &#8220;Another Mystery.&#8221; (The embed does not auto-play, so clicking is required to start it.)<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/vine.co\/v\/bYx2FX3Qbx2\/embed\/postcard\" height=\"480\" width=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><script charset=\"utf-8\" type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"\/\/platform.vine.co\/static\/scripts\/embed.js\" async=\"\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Even the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival is recognizing notable work on Vine. It could be that five seconds is already <a href=\"http:\/\/5secondfilms.com\/\">taken<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0for years &#8211;\u00c2\u00a0by the wildly successful team at 5 Second Films, based in Los Angeles. (The team is now <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/5sf\/dude-bro-party-massacre-3\">Kickstarting<\/a> a feature film for $200,000 &#8212; and well on their way to making the goal.) The 5SF team helped judge the Tribeca\/Vine contest.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever your opinion on mobile and square cinema, you cannot deny it&#8217;s becoming more mainstream. But why is it still relegated to online only?
