But they were given the hand-cranked wooden camera to shoot within certain restrictions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>55 seconds of single-sprocket, acetate 35mm film<\/li>\n<li>3 takes<\/li>\n<li>Natural light<\/li>\n<li>Non-sync sound<\/li>\n<li>Cannot stop the hand-crank camera<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Famed writer\/director\/producer of television (&#8220;Twin Peaks&#8221;) and film (&#8220;Mulholland Dr.,&#8221; &#8220;Lost Highway,&#8221; &#8220;Eraserhead&#8221;), <a href=\"http:\/\/davidlynch.com\/\">David Lynch<\/a>, came up with this short [NSFW]:<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LvWAonuoMaY<\/p>\n<p>His commentary is also available to watch:<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=eknapHWJ1Ws<\/p>\n<p>The end result was a feature film called &#8220;Lumiere &#038; Company,&#8221; released in 1995.
