GrayCard turns your device into a convenient and adjustable gray card. Photograph your iPhone or iPod Touch in your scene, and get a middle gray reference for white balance simply and easily!
GrayCard allows you to adjust your gray card to achieve different photographic effects in two easy steps:
1. Select how your scene is lit; choose either Daylight/Flash or Tungsten (indoor lights, lamps and hotlights).
2. Easily get a reference point which, when later selected as middle gray in a photo editing program, will warm or cool your photos by selecting different white balances based on the light source being used. There are even minus green adjustments for correcting for fluorescent lighting!
It’s like having 20 filters in your pocket!
Even more advanced features are planned for upcoming versions. Please note, due to the physics of transmissive versus reflective light, GrayCard should only be used as a back up method for setting white balance. A physical gray card is still preferable in most cases.
