Synopsis

Official selection at the Tribeca Film Festival and winner of a Special Jury Mention for Best New Director, “Stones in the Sun” explores the lives of three pairs of Haitian refugees which intersect in 1980s New York City. In the midst of increasing political violence in their homeland, they must confront the disturbing truth of their pasts, as the history of their interlocked lives are slowly revealed.
