Eric Szyszka got passionate about film as early as high school, writing and directing two shorts before graduation, which got included in 2002's Woodstock Film Festival's youth screening series.
He then attended SUNY Purchase and obtained a BA in Cinema Studies and continued to progress in filmmaking through digital video with a commissioned piece for the American Cancer Society, "Look Good, Feel Better" and a short noir about a postman entitled "Unsent."
"Unsent" screened at Purchase College, the Big Apple Film Festival, and the legendary Manhattan venue The Anthology Film Archives.
He currently is developing feature scripts and resides in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens, New York, with plans to make the move to L.A.
